Accepting accommodation by telephone or in writing means that you have entered into a legally binding contract.

If you cancel the reservation or fail to take it up for whatever reason compensation may be due.

In the event of a cancelled booking the proprietors of Pinewood House will make every effort to re-let the accommodation. If this can not be done the following conditions will apply.

• When cancellation is made up to 28 days before the comencement of the booking all deposits will be forfeited.
• When cancellation is made within 14 days of the commencement of booking, two thirds of the cost of the booked accommodation will become payable.

It is in your interest to notify the proprietors as soon as possible if you have to cancel your booking.

We strongly recommend that you have Holiday Cancellation Insurance as a way to protect your holiday. Details of an inexpensive policy for U.K residents can be provided.
