The Old Course, along with the New, Jubilee, Eden, Strathtyrum, Balgove, and Castle courses, form one of the most historic golfing complexes in the world, with origins dating back to the 15th century. The Old Course in particular is regarded as the birthplace of golf as we know it today.
Kingsbarns Golf Links
Approx. 16 miles from Pinewood Country House
Kingsbarns is a modern masterpiece set along a stunning stretch of coastline just south of St Andrews.
Originally opened in 2000 and designed by Kyle Phillips, it was carefully crafted to restore traditional links golf to this historic coastline. The course is consistently ranked among the best in the world and offers uninterrupted sea views from almost every hole.
Dumbarnie Links

Dumbarnie Links is one of Scotland’s newest championship links courses, located on the stunning coastline of Largo Bay in Fife.
Officially opened in 2020 and designed by former Ryder Cup player Clive Clark, the course was built on land with golfing history stretching back centuries. Combining wide fairways, dramatic dunes, and spectacular sea views, Dumbarnie has quickly earned international recognition as one of Scotland’s premier modern links experiences.
Gleneagles

Gleneagles is one of the most iconic luxury golf resorts in the world and home to three championship courses set within the Perthshire countryside.
